Objects On My Dresser, Phase 4: Exhibition in Print consisted of a publication in the Los Angeles Institute of Contemporary Art JOURNAL.

The Journal was published between 1974 and 1987 by the Los Angeles Institute of Contemporary Art, a venue for experimental artistic practices… LAICA’s cofounders saw print as an alternative form of distribution that supported the goals of the exhibition space. Many issues of the Journal included the section “Exhibitions in Print.” Rapoport’s project was included with sixteen others in the Winter 1981 issue, alongside such artists as David Ireland and Carole Caroompas. The readers were invited to check a list of choices and to mail their responses to the artist in exchange for a plot of their own Netweb portrait.
